With this pendant I wanted to make something geometric and modern but organic too.
So I ended up playing with forms like circle, oval and semicircle with a silver leaf.
The leaf is textured and has a patina to accent the details.
The semicircle cabochon is hand carved out of black horn.
It also has a high quality cubic zirconia set in a sterling silver tall tube and a silver bail.
The chain is sterling silver, thin and delicate, and it is 18 inch long.
Pendant is 2.5 by 1.5 cm.
All metal components have been handcrafted from recycled sterling silver and brass.

Horn has been cut, sanded and polish by hand.
Our raw horns are sourced from renewable resources, it's recycling a waste product from the meat industry and as a result preventing it from ending up in landfill.
By using controlled organic raw materials we are supporting the environment and preserving a long tradition of native craftsmen, that for generations used natural materials in a friendly and harmoniously manner.
